Barbecue Serving & Cooking Tips

Cooking Tips for Barbecue Selections:

London Broil: This cut is best cooked rare over a hot fire or in the broiler. As with our other barbecue cuts, seasoning or barbecue rub is a great enhancement. This should be broiled or grilled over a hot fire for 8-10 minutes.

Skirt Steak: Like its cousin the London Broil it is best grilled or broiled over a hot fire for 2-3 minutes on each side.

Beef Brisket: This barbecue classic should be slowly cooked. First prepare the night before by rubbing it with a barbecue rub. Then it should be cooked over a low temperature, 275 degrees or over a slow grill fire, indirect method, for 2-3 hours. Brushing with barbecue sauce and turning occasionally. If grilling, adding moist wood chips onto the coals will give it an additional smoked flavor.
