Ingredients

  • ½ gal. Milk
  • 1 lb. 2 oz. Sugar
  • 12 oz. cake flour
  • ¼ lb. egg yolks
  • 10 oz. Sugar
  • 4 whole eggs

Directions

Bring half gal. Milk and sugar to a boil.

While milk is coming to a boil, mix in a small bowl your 10 oz. Sugar, ¼ lb. Eggs yolks, 12 oz. Cake flour and 4 whole eggs. Mix until the sugar is dissolved. Pour this mixture, beating quickly into your milk and sugar that has come to a boil. After these two are combined well, put this whole mixture into a mixer and whip for 1 to 2 minutes.  Refrigerate Immediately.
